At Hawaii Rabbitry, all our bunnies are lovingly cared for, ensuring they are super friendly, sweet, and ready to become amazing pets. We put a lot of effort into socializing our bunnies so they are well-adjusted and comfortable around people. However, it’s the buyer’s responsibility to continue socializing their bunny to maintain its friendly nature and build a strong bond.

Owning a bunny requires learning proper handling techniques, as rabbits are delicate animals that need to be held correctly to prevent stress or injury. This is especially important because regular grooming is a necessary part of rabbit care to keep them healthy and comfortable.

Our bunnies are sold as pets only, and we require all buyers to spay or neuter their rabbits. This ensures that none of our bunnies contribute to overpopulation or end up in shelters. By requiring this step, we are helping to protect our breeding lines and the welfare of rabbits everywhere.

If you’re interested in breeding rights for one of our bunnies, you must contact us directly to discuss the possibility. Breeding rights are not included with standard purchases, and approval will depend on various factors, including your experience and the care environment you can provide.

While bunnies are adorable and rewarding companions, they are not easy pets and require a significant, long-term commitment. Rabbits can live 8-12 years, meaning they will be part of your life for over a decade. They need spacious living areas, daily care, mental stimulation, and a specialized diet that includes unlimited hay, leafy greens, and occasional pellets.

Bunnies also require regular veterinary care, often from exotic pet specialists, which can be costly. Additionally, rabbits are natural chewers, so your home must be bunny-proofed to protect both your belongings and their safety.

Our bunnies are priced to reflect the care, quality, and effort we put into raising them. Some reasons for this include:

  • The high-quality food and supplies we provide to ensure their health.

  • The time spent socializing them to make them friendly and well-adjusted.

  • The veterinary care they may receive, including wellness checks.

  • Our commitment to ethical breeding practices to ensure happy, healthy rabbits.

If you’re looking for a cheap rabbit, adopting from a shelter may be a better option for you. However, if you want a bunny that has been raised with love, care, and the utmost attention to quality, our rabbits may be the perfect match for your family.

We are passionate about our bunnies and want them to go to loving, responsible homes. By purchasing from us, you’re committing to providing your rabbit with the care, attention, and resources it needs to thrive. If you’re ready for the joys and responsibilities of bunny ownership, we’d love to help match you with one of our amazing rabbits!
